Easy A is about a normal high-school girl who ends up with two types of reputations - one for being the school slut and the other for being the girl who will say she slept with you to help his reputation out. Word spreads like rapid fire and she is determined to set everyone straight with the truth.
The movie is absolutely hilarious if you find this type of humor funny, some love it some don't. I am one of the ones that love it. Emma Stone plays the role perfectly and with her constant little quips she just keeps your rolling. This movie is not just for the teenage viewer, many adults will find this movie riveting. I keep recommending it to everyone I know and I am constantly singing "Pocket Full of Sunshine", I even made it my ringtone! Watch the movie to find out why!
Takers is about a LA detective who tries to bust a group of notorious thieves before they carry out a $20 million heist. Their heists are extremely well planned and they never leave behind a bit of evidence. But this one last job may get them in a load of trouble.
So the movie is packed with well-known actors and the previews show you lots of good action and drama. However, I wasn't really impressed by this flick. It was good, but it kind of seemed like they took different ideas from different movies and just crammed them into this one. It seemed like a combination of The Italian Job and Ocean's Eleven (Twelve, or Thirteen!). The acting wasn't bad in any way because they had a good cast, but it just didn't live up to the hype from the ads. I don't regret watching it, but I really wouldn't recommend it to a friend as a "must see" if you know what I mean.
Out of a possible five stars, I rate this movie:
Possession is about a woman whose husband gets into a horrific car accident with his brother (they weren't in the car together, but they head on collide) putting them both into comas. The brother-in-law awakes thinking he is is brother.
Now the movie starts fairly interestingly, after the brother-in-law wakes up thinking he is his brother, knowing information only his brother would know, you really start to believe that in some strange way they somehow switched bodies and he is the husband. And the woman, Sarah Michelle Gellar, starts to believe it too. The smallest detail, that you don't really catch, makes the woman think that it really is the brother-in-law and he is just pretending to be his brother. Then the movie kind of goes ends in a weird place and I was kind of disappointed in the ending. It started out so good and I had such good hopes. Well, what are you going to do, right?
